How to join Directeam Organization
Join existing or new AWS account
You can add an existing or new AWS account to Directeam Organization by following this guide.
Billing history and reports for an AWS account stay within the account. Before you join the account to a Directeam Organization, we recommend you download any billing and report histories you want to keep. This might include Cost and Usage Reports, Detailed Billing Reports, or reports generated by Cost Explorer Service.
- Contact your Account Manager and share the following details
- AWS Account ID
- Your Account Manager will send an invite to Directeam’s Organization, you should then receive an email from AWS with a link to accept the invitation.
- To join the Organization:
- Sign into the AWS Organization console
Browse to the Invitations tab to view Directeam’s invitation. - Accept the invitation.
- Sign into the AWS Organization console
Existing management(payer) account
If you are owning a management(payer) account with multiple AWS accounts, you won’t be able to join Directeam’s Organization and you will get an error if trying to accept the invitation.
Billing history and reports for all accounts stay with the payer account in an Organization. Before you move the account to Directeam Organization, download any billing and report histories for any member accounts that you want to keep. This might include Cost and Usage Reports, Detailed Billing Reports, or reports generated by Cost Explorer Service.
You should do the following:
- Leave the Organization for each member account.
- In case you never filled in payment details, once you try to leave the organization you will be redirected to a designated page where you will fill in the following details:
- Provide contact information
- Provide a valid payment method
- Verify the phone number
- Select a support plan option
- Sign into the management(payer) AWS account and delete the AWS Organization by navigating to the Settings page, and then choose Delete organization.
- Accept Directeam’s invitations.
